Vicar Ben Balge was born in Owasso, MI in 1994. In 2002, his family moved to New Ulm, MN where his father served as a Professor at Martin Luther College until 2010. In 2012, he graduated from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School and in the fall he enrolled at Martin Luther College. In the spring of 2016, Vicar Balge achieved a Bachelor of Science in Education. In the following spring of 2017, he received certification to attend Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. His parents currently reside in Milwaukee WI, and his siblings live in Milwaukee, Sheboygan, and Minneapolis.
 
Vicar Balge is thrilled to live in the “Village by the Sea.” He is eager to not experience snowfall, and spend as much time in the ocean as possible. He likes to play sports, be outside, and follow his favorite sports teams.
