Transitional Kindergarten Program

Our early childhood program gives four and five year olds many opportunities for social-emotional and language development through hands-on activities, dramatic play, and small group instruction.  We have a two year curriculum that focuses on activities and experiences that develop fine and large motor skills, promote reading readiness, and encourage math exploration. Our day includes fine motor play, calendar/morning meeting, a Bible lesson, music, movement, art, and story time.  Small groups are the best for pre-math, writing, and letter learning.  We use“Get Set for School,” which is a very hands-on way to explore pre-writing and letter formation. Our classroom wouldn’t be complete without: the building area, housekeeping center, writing table, STEM/STEAM materials, sensory table, and provocation/tinkering station.  We offer full and half days Monday-Friday.  Our NEW Outdoor Classroom enables us to spend some of our learning/play time outside.
