“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “

Thank you for visiting the online home of Beautiful Saviour Evangelical Lutheran Church and School. We welcome you to explore our site and our congregation’s ministries to assist you in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition, we offer Sunday morning Bible study at 9:30 a.m. These Bible studies enhance our understanding of Biblical truths and provide a great opportunity to gather with fellow believers in Christ. We have two Sunday services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to provide you with opportunities to worship together. Our friendly congregation will make you feel very welcome and give you that warm family feel. We look forward to seeing you soon for worship either in our 8:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. service!

OUR SCHOOL’S PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

PROVERBS 22:6

The education offered at Beautiful Saviour is Christ-centered: the Savior and His love are at the center of all we do.
The Word of God provides the framework on which everything is taught and serves as our only source of faith and life. In addition to religion classes, all other classes are taught in the light of God’s Word and in the context of our sinful nature and God’s grace to us in sending the Savior.

Our school helps parents with their God-given task of raising their children in the knowledge of God and His Word.

WHY A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT

Our Church Ministries

Men’s Bible Breakfast

The men’s Bible Breakfast meets on the first Saturday of the month from 7:30-9:00 am. A light breakfast is served by one of the men which is followed by a study designed for Christian men focusing on God’s Word with lessons on being a husband, father, son, or friend. It is designed to encourage men in the role God has chosen for them. If you would like to receive more information you may contact Pastor Valleskey at (760) 224-9690.

Bible Information Class

The purpose of the class is to explore the Bible and find their answers to life’s most important questions. Our class is called “That I may know him,” and it is about knowing who Jesus is and what he has done for you and how you can stay connected to Him for life and salvation. If you are interested in taking the class to learn more about what we teach please contact Pastor Uhlhorn at (760) 420-1682.

WinGs

Motivated solely by the gospel, Beautiful Saviour Lutheran Women in God’s Service (WinGS) exists to assist our Pastor and congregation in nurturing, encouraging and equipping women to faithfully use their God-given gifts to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The ladies meet ten times during the calendar year on the second Saturday of the month. WinGs plans many of the social events of the church. You may contact Jan Mazone at (760)434-2494

Our Beliefs

Our faith family is centered on Christ. We believe, teach, and confess that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. We believe the Bible is the source for all our teachings. The Bible shows us what we are really like in God’s eyes – including our flaws and our faults. The Bible’s central message, however, is that all human beings are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We welcome you to see this faith proclaimed at weekly worship each Sunday at 8:00am and 10:30am as well as our Sunday morning Bible studies and Sunday School at 9:30am.   We are a gathering of Lutheran Christians in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Church. You can learn more about the work and teachings of our church body here. Lutheran Christians emphasize that we are saved by Jesus Christ alone by grace alone, by faith alone, and by Scripture alone. We hold to solid and consistent biblical Christianity as it has been articulated in the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and the Book of Concord.
